PETALING JAYA: A magistrate's court here has extended a remand order against a 48-year-old man believed to be involved the abduction-cum-robbery of a teacher Teoh Soo Kim.
Serdang OCPD Supt Abdul Razak Elias said the remand order had been extended for another two days against the suspect who was detained on Saturday.
Supt Abdul Razak said Wednesday the remand order was made under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Teoh, 51, was brutally beaten and dumped at Talam oil palm estate in Kuala Selangor.
The special education teacher was seriously injured in the incident and now being warded at the intensive care unit of Sungai Buloh Hospital.
She left the house around 7am to pick up one of her student last Wednesday but failed to turn up.
She was found four hours later by passers-by at the estate.thestar.
